Admission Schedule for 2025 intake 

Pre-Application 

 

 

♦Preparation for scores of Standardized Test ♦

February 13 to March 8

Application period for the first session of the EJU 2024.

-Applicants who reside in the countries where the EJU is offered are strongly recommended to take its first session in June 16.

June 16 

The first session of EJU 2024.

♦Preparation for scores of English Proficiency Test♦

 -Only TOEFL ibt or IELTS academic module is acceptable.
♦Preliminary Verification for those whose eligibility does not satisfy eligibility 2)-a,b,c (See the Guidelines page 3).
June 21 to July 5 Submission period of documents for Preliminary Verification. Educational qualifications will be checked by Admissions Committee members and result will be notified in late July.

First Screening

 August 15 to September 9 Application period for International Course Program. All of the application documents must be submitted to the  Admissions Office via Online Application System by no later than September 9, 2024.
Early October Results of the first screening will be announced. An examination voucher indicating the Examinee’s Registration Number and information on the second screening (date and venue for the interview) will be notified to those who have passed the first screening.

Second 

Screening

 Mid to late October Applicants who passed the first screening will have an online interview.
November 12 Final results will be announced.
Enrollment Process December 6 Due date for payment of the admission fee
December 9 Acceptance Letter for Admission will be mailed to the successful applicants.
Late December VISA application
Late March,  2025 Arrival in Japan
April 7, 2025 Entrance ceremony at Kyoto University
