　Welcome Message from the Chair

　 Professor Ichikawa Welcome to the website of the Undergraduate International Course Program of Civil Engineering, Kyoto University. This program offers a high-quality civil engineering education in English to both international and Japanese students. Our goal is to nurture talented individuals who are capable of designing and managing essential infrastructure to support our daily lives, while also addressing major challenges such as disaster prevention, global environmental concerns, and the sustainable use of natural resources. We warmly welcome students from around the world who are passionate about development issues in their home countries, as well as environmental and resource-related challenges, particularly in Asia and Africa. Graduates of this program are expected to become self-reliant engineers or researchers with strong teamwork skills, helping build a better society.
