Preliminary Eligibility Screening

What will be checked during the Eligibility Screening?

The admission committees will verify the qualifications of ALL applicants, particularly considering those who do not fall under any of the requirement (2)-a to d, such as the individuals listed below.

• Those who have studied in primary or secondary educational institution(s) located in Japan under Japanese education system .
• Those who have studied in primary and secondary educational institutions for less than 12 years, i.e. for example, due to the education system of their country of residence* or due to a change of country of residence, etc. *except for the curriculum recognized as equivalent to upper secondary schools by MEXT.
• Those who have passed an official accreditation exam to prove that they have academic ability equivalent to completion of 12-year educational program which leads to university admission.
